What the service is

Fast Video Download is a free tool that retrieves media a platform already serves and hands it to you as a file. It is provided as it stands, without a guarantee that any particular link, platform or quality will work at any given moment.

Acceptable use

• Download only material you have the right to keep: your own uploads, openly licensed or public-domain work, or content the rights holder permits you to save.
• Do not use the service to redistribute, re-upload or sell someone else's video.
• Do not automate bulk requests, attempt to bypass rate limits, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
• Follow the law where you are, and the terms of the platform the link comes from.

Responsibility for the use you make of a downloaded file rests with you. What you may legally keep covers the common cases.

Availability

Capacity is finite and source platforms change constantly. Downloads may be refused when the service is at capacity or rate-limited, platforms may be paused for maintenance, and finished files expire from storage on the short schedule described on the privacy page.

Rights and liability

We claim no rights in the videos you download; they remain their owners'. The site's own text, design and code remain ours. To the extent the law allows, the service is offered without warranties and we are not liable for loss arising from its use or unavailability.
