Privacy
No accounts, no advertising, and a short list of things we do record.
What we record
- The link you paste, along with the quality you chose, so the download can be prepared and so we can diagnose failures.
- Your IP address and browser user-agent for each download, used to stop abuse and to apply rate limits.
- One first-party page-view record per page: the path you visited and, on arrival, the referring site. It sets no cookies and carries no identifier.
- Google Analytics, which counts visits and how people use the site in aggregate. It sets its own cookies; you can block them with your browser or opt out with Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
What we do not do
There are no accounts, so nothing is tied to an identity. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising or share data with advertisers, and we do not watch, keep or index the content of the videos you download beyond preparing your file.
How long things are kept
Finished files are deleted from storage about an hour after they are ready, and up to four hours for very large files. Request logs are kept for a limited period for abuse prevention and debugging, then discarded.
Service providers
The site runs on our own servers, and downloads are fetched from the source platform — meaning that platform sees a request for the video, as it would for any viewer. Object storage holds finished files for the short window described above. Google Analytics, run by Google, receives visit statistics.
Your requests
Write to [email protected] to ask what we hold about a request you made, or to ask us to delete it. Because nothing is tied to an account, include the link and the approximate time so we can find it. See also the terms.
