How to download Facebook videos
Feed videos, Watch links and Reels from public posts, with SD and HD listed side by side.

Facebook serves the same video at more than one quality and rarely tells you which one you are watching. Downloading is where that choice becomes visible.
Finding the link
Use the ⋯ menu on the post and choose Copy link, or open the video and copy the address bar. Both the long facebook.com/watch form and the short fb.watch form work.
SD or HD
Facebook usually stores two renditions. HD is the better file; SD is often a third of the size and perfectly adequate on a phone screen or a metered connection. Both are listed with their sizes, which is the point — the decision is yours rather than the platform's.
What will not work
Friends-only posts, private groups and anything that requires you to be logged in are out of reach. Check the link in a logged-out browser window first: if Facebook asks you to sign in there, no downloader can get past it.
